GRAB A TISSUE AND KISS YOUR DOG

A high school friend posted this on Facebook. In the 45 or so seconds it took to watch this video, I went from "going to turn in for the night" to bawling. I left her a message saying that I have to be up for work in about 5 hours, and my eyes are now going to look like puff pastries. All puffiness aside, can you imagine a world where people treated each other this well? And selfless acts such as this were commonplace? I would love to live in that world. One of my favorite quotes of all time is by our guy Ghandi. He says to"Be the change you want to see in the world". It may be a dog-eat-dog world, but it doesn't have to be. It wasn't this time.

P.S. The news reporter on another clip just like this one said that some freeway workers saw the dogs and stopped to help. The injured dog survived!

I know! I saw this on the news...they showed it on CNN over and over. It was amazing. How many dogs have been passed by and just left...then some dog shows up and saves the day.

Wow, that's impressive. I wouldn't even expect a dog to understand the problem and be able to work out a solution, let alone be able to move a limp body like that. I wonder if it's had some kind of training, or if the two dogs had an emotional connection. So interesting and moving!

I have to say that I was not sure that I could watch it. I am happy to hear that it had a great ending. How nice of a nature that dog had!

Animals are wonderful and do the most incredible things... this made me cry ..to think another dog would save another while all the people just drove right on by....makes me wonder which of us are suppose to be the superior beings

And what makes us think people are the only ones that matter...

I have seen this before but still got tears in my eyes while watching it again!! We are to help one another as much as we can - even the animals get this. What a great showing of compassion - and no one had to tell it or write it just show it!!!
